"i am least difficult of all [wo]man. all i want is boundless love."

Meditations in an Emergency - Frank O'Hara

i love that phrase, boundless love.

it can mean so much, so much freedom and so much pain.

i do credit it for first spurring my mind to the understanding and practice of polyamory, though looking back now, i know it's always been how i wished to be. i just didn't know how to describe it.

Now i've been practicing polyamory forabout a year and a half. it's truely freeing and everyday it helps me understand myself a little bit more.

Then again i still find myself hitting roadblocks, like in every relationship no matter the structure.

So, this post is just a means of conversation on the topic.

I'm wondereing home many people are on here that are open or opposed to it, and if you're practicing it how long and for what reasons (only if you're willing to share of course).

If anyone could share some insight into starting something with someone who doesn't yet know you practice polyamory.

I wish i could say i was brave and honest, but there's this guy i'm seeing that i'm so afraid of scaring off once i tell him. it hasn't gotten very serious yet, so that makes it easier to keep to myself. but i know i have to tell him soon.

I posted this in the a singles thread 1- because it mentions polyamory in the title and 2 also being single and monogamous you're bound tomeet people like me in the dating world - how do would you prefer to be told, if at all?
