What is your 'type' or an experience that has affected your type.

@spider-feet
I just remembered my first experience with having someone tell me about natural dreads...which happens to also be my first conscious attempt at flirting with a girl hehe. She told me that she was going to the beach daily for awhile and washed like normal, got tired of trying to rip out knots so just let it do it's thing.

I think the experience subconsciously affected me because since then I've only dated girls that wear little to no makeup, kind of tomboyish, would rather take a sandwich to a park than go to a restaurant...I almost always try to convince them to dread.

Also I usually go for the very talkative type, partially due to my inability to handle silence lol. I've been called strange (in a good way) because sometimes they'd think that I wasn't really paying attention but I remember pretty much everything that was said....Totally subconscious thing and one reason why I need open communication and honesty in a relationship, it's been the cause of enough "Surprise! your lying to me..." moments.

So what is everyones 'type'? As much as can be defined at least. Any experiences that have affected what you look for? I know we all have had the negative experiences that let us know what we don't want in our lives, so what I'm looking to hear is what has been a positive influence for what we do want.
