zero impact man the documentary
im watching this on netflix now its really interesting
a ntc resident living on 5th ave pute his family through a 1 year experiment goibng to extremes to have zero environmental impact
some of the things they did included only localy grown foods (vegatarian) no toilet paper no dish or laundry soaps no packaging odf any kind zero trash except compostables
eliminated all junk mail
only human powered transportation no buying new clothes ot items no tv (and eventualy no electric) no disposable anything
gave up coffee cause no coffee was grown within 50 miles
no elevators (this 1 i dont understand unless its just about the electric used , only 1/3 into the film now tho)
they cut out every last thing that had any environmental impact just to see how much they could give up
its pretty amazing .. and ofcourse most ppl wouldnt taker it as far but just shows that it is very possible to reduse oor impact greatly if not completely
