without sticky dread wax these dreads look amazing in only 1 week! no wax no backcombing just twisy and rip and leave em be no palm rolling no rubbing no working on them constantly
just let em dread
Us having curls holds the locs very well, people with straight/wavy hair have to wait longer but it still ends up looking nice, and STRAIGHTER! More tube like, I thought my hair would be pulled much straighter than this.. but I guess not..so curly dreads is probably going to be the mature result. Mine are almost three weeks old, had three washes...and they are curling up like crazy! But I'm rocking with it, Shalom All:-)
i feel dumb, but i cant seem to get the twist and rip method to work.. is there something I am not doing right perhaps?

I haven't yet begun my lock path except in research. this is an awesome site to start off with tho, very helpful!!

twist one time seperate at random pull apart by random i mean every pull have diferent ammounts in each hand seperated in fdiferent spots
it takes several pulls to get the 1st bit of knots "seatted" then it builds on that quickly
retwit every 10 or so split/pulls
can u vid what you are doing so i can get an idea why its not working
