Happy holidays to one and all!
and by that i mean, all holidays celebrated by all people not just the 1 celebrated by some..some who feel only theirs should be allowed
fox news reports often on the war on christmass but what is this war on christmass? don't they mean the christmass war? the war started thousands of years ago?
when pagans celebrated their winter holidays and the christians choose to crush them by forcing them to celebrate christmass? the birth of a guy who was born in the spring but who's birthday was celebrated in the dead of winter just to fall t the time of the pagan celebrations?
the war on christmass if you want to believe there is 1 was started by puritans during the colonial days in some areas it was illegal to celebrate christmass
in fact nearly all the holidays the fox news psudo (or psycho) christians are fighting to protect are all stolen holidays that have absolutely nothing to do with jesus and christianity
the bringing in of a tree the easter bunny have their roots in earth based beliefs not in the heaven and hell bearded dude in the sky based beliefs
(special note to the god hates gays category of christians: the early christistmass holidays..the ones that formed the foundation of what we have today involved gay sex orgies..it was the 1 time of year men were able to have sex with men as a celebration...this is the tradition your fighting to presserve?)
im not saying we should go around yelling out fuck chrisstmass or anything like that but just that we should say happy holidays in respect to all beliefs including those whos holidays were stolen by those who now try to claim them

you know fox news actualy counts the number of refferences to god in political speaches and tells you you should vote for the candidate that says god more? even if its 32 to 31
this past election romney mentioned god 2 more times then oboma and that was 2 less times then the previos election so thay took it as a sign of moral decay
romney on the other hands a mormon the moro=]mons are sworn to put the churches interests abiove all others including the country the mormons had gone to war 3 times twice witgh a state once with the fed gov romney was sworn tio suicide if he ever disobeyed the church so fox news wanted the country handed over to a cult the leader of 1 sect of the mormon cults on the fbis top wanted list for the practice of marying multiple 12 yrar olds and forcefullty raping them

You're right, there are a million beliefs in this country. Fox news would LOVE if we were all christians. Christianity provides the media with a means of control over peoples morals. I can see why that would be desirable...for everyone to have good moral values that they abide by, but at the same time... I can make ethical decisions in my life without fearing that i will be "stricken down" if i go against the "man in the skys'" wishes.I personally find it inappropriate for someone to say "God Bless" or anyother reference to a god. as you said its important to recognize that not everyones beliefs are the same!
Yeah, this country was definitely not founded on Christianity.

another thing thast pisses me off is how they keep saying "we're a christian country" since when? we are as country that accepts all beliefs (except those we decide to bomb..the ones with compounds) and although theres millions of churches out there agnostics and athiests out number them by a huge degree nd pagans wicans jews druids buddhists ertc etc etc dont fall far behind in numbers
