Thank you(: and I got them done in Mexico with the crotchet method and they are going to be 5 weeks old on Saturday. I only crocheted them for about the first two weeks and then I stopped 'cause I was told it wasn't good for the dreads and my hair was curly before.

can u post some poics in your discussion? the 1 dread looks thick and considering crochet makes them 1/3 the size a healthy dread would be that section might be pretty huge i will say that yours dont look to be crochetted too severely so your recovery might not be that bad

just let them be! thats the healthiest thing u can do wash and seoperate just seperate thats all menany that u comented on her pic she crochetted every day for like 2 weeks to the untrainedeye they may look good but they are in real danfger of not lasting a month idf she didnt stop what she was doing..literaly ive seen dreads crochetted till they broke in just a month ive seen em last years too bjt they are weak no longer really attached to the head you can cut a dread in 2 and reatach it with crochet and make it look perfect but its still a cut off dread weaker no longer attached the best thing there is for dreads is to let them do the dreading dont force it alow it

welcome but who told you that crochet and backcombing is "all natural" natural means you just let the hair dread itself

but its a good thing u didnt use wax at least
