When you sleep, tossing and turning, your hair gets rubbed and moves around. You can just put a wool blanket or sweater on top of your pillow instead, that way you would not be damaging your roots at all. Your neglect journey will take 1-2 years, depending on hair length, so be patient...it will happen all on its own....peace
No more conditioners or regular shampoo, get a dread friendly shampoo....if you can't afford one, ask mom or dad if they would buy it for you. The best ones I have found are at www.dreadlockshampoo.com
