ok so the bottom layer of my hair is still crazy! It's not really dreading like the rest. The sides and the top layer in the back are doing AWESOME! But the bottom layer is only dreading at the top so it looks like they are just strands of hair in the back. Idk it's weird. Anyone else have this issue?

Other than that I am LOVING my dreads. I have had my doubts but all in all I love them and the way they make me feel! I haven't had any bad comments yet. Nobody telling me to wash my hair or anything like that. I have however had compliments! Not many but some! lol...

Got it in the mail on Monday!!! Can't wait to try it, it smells so good! I can't wash my hair until tomorrow but I might make an exception I will most definitely be going to them from now on because their customer service was amazing! Good company

But now I've got to go check on stuff for AG.

I need everyone's advice...

I love having dreads. But they are getting crazy!!! they are trying to congo and there are a few of them that are tangling with dreads that are 2 or 3 dreads away... what would you guys do? Would you take them out and redo them or would you let them go and do their thing?

I haven't been able to visit this site due to no computer/phone anymore, but my dreads will be 11 weeks old tomorrow!

My husband lost his job working for Apple, and he is searching for a new job. I had to look for a job as well and thought I would have to get rid of my dreads. I have been pretty depressed about that. I found a job though as a waitress and they don't mind my tattoos or my dreads! So I am pretty happy now!!!!

So that is where I am at... very excited to continue to watch my dreads grow!!! I am definitely thinking about getting some dread shampoo though because the baking soda wash just isnt working for me. I may be doing it wrong though... I put baking soda in the sink with warm water, soak for about 7-10 min, rinse, then do the same thing with apple cider vinegar. Even after rinsing the final time, the water that rinses from my hair is still dirty... I don't like that...

Ok now I am done rambling

I'm having a hard time deciding if I should dye my dreads. I've thought black, or maybe a cool auburn color, or even bleach them or maybe dye them pink! I've always been one to dye my hair like crazy. I need someone else's advice, should I dye them (and what color?!) or should I just continue to let them grow naturally (i did t&r but i mean naturally from now on).... decisions decisions... which one is correct?!

Ok, I have been searching online a lot for dread photos and such and I came across something last night that really bothered me.

There was a photo of a gorgeous woman who had natural dreads and I loved it. There were comments of all different opinions below the photo, but the one that really got me was when a guy said "all people with dreads are dirty."

That is bullshit. Why are people so judgemental about things they obviously know nothing about?! You know, some people with dreads are dirty. Just like some people without dreads are dirty. Some fat people are lazy, just like some skinny people are lazy. Don't ever sit there and judge someone for how they look because until you know them, you don't really know how they are! I can't stand how people do this... It drives me insane.

My husband is trying to grow his hair out (not for dreads, he just wants long hair) and I want my dreads to get longer, so I heard about Biotin... how well does it actually work and how often should you take it?! We are going to get some here soon. I freaking love my dreads, and I think they are progressing REALLY well for only being close to 2 months old, but if there is a way for me to get some length on them, I'm all for it!

I have started an alternative modeling community called Anarchy Girls and I am finally able to run this site full time! I am very excited to be able to devote my time 8am-3pm to this site!
