you shouldn't need to repair your locks, most things to "repair" them is actually doing more damage long term. wash & separate as wanted/needed is all you need to do! relax & enjoy

Welcome. Eagle's right about the crochet method. Check out the recovery forums to see what others who have crocheted are going through
welcome but the crochet was no "help" its 1 of the worse things u can do to dreads it causes extreme damage and will delay any dreading by 6 months
but used only 1 time they will recovdr eventualy..just never use it again
