The best thing to do is to let your hair naturally separate into sections first, then use those for your T&R. Just by washing and not brushing, your hair will do this within two weeks time, so you can do all your research while you are waiting. but why do u want em all the same thickness/ yea u might want to keep em in a general range like 1/2-3/4 but to have em all 1/2 inch just seems strange to me
