Hi Shauan, welcome to the community. Glad you found the best site on the web to get all your healthy and true dread information to get you off to a good start. So you plan to do T&R. I did also. The best thing to do is to let your hair naturally separate into sections first, then use those for your T&R. Just by washing and not brushing, your hair will do this within two weeks time, so you can do all your research while you are waiting. but why do u want em all the same thickness/ yea u might want to keep em in a general range like 1/2-3/4 but to have em all 1/2 inch just seems strange to me
