you dont need a shop thats what they don't tell you. (use comment back so i get a notice)

hair literally dreads itself

rainbow08wyoming101113.jpg

this is just from camping in the woods 2 weeks

this is "the right way" your looking for. shops do things all wrong insisting on instant dreads, that then take either 6 months to loosen and start to dread, or constant force to keep them looking like dreads.

if you don't simply let it dread naturally you have a couple options ..but only you should ever touch them and only with your fingers

african textured hair  twists 2 strand twists or comb coils. no products, and do not retwist!

african  or any other twist and rip a gentle method you can do quickly and easily

loosers better imperfects perfect

looser dreads dread faster, not all the same sizes and uniform grid makes them look more natural and real, less manufactured

I had assumed that was the case and seeing their methods online made me wince...  I thought maybe someone here would know somebody local that I could contact.

Anyone here in and around Lexington, KY?

welcome

but no shops do dreads correctly. by definition everything they do is incorrect

real dreds do not come from a shp and every single shop out there uses the worse methods there are

read the salon locticians recovery section for all the horrors they cause
