Welcome. Don't palm roll. It only does 1 of 2 things. 1) you do it lightly and not often so you don't get lasting knots and have to redo it to make them look nice. I this case, there's no reason to waste useful time on it. 2) you do it a lot and vigorously and you do see lasting knots. In this case, you are irrevocably destroying your locks. It's a damage that happens right away, bu isn't noticeable for about a year, until your hair grow out and you can see how thinned out your roots are
