u should never snip the hairs when seoperating unles theres really no other way to get en seperated ..instead just rip em pull in oposite directions till they seperate...snipping mighht lead to dread loss even
if you absolutely must then do it like brain surgery ,.very careful very slow very exact only snip a couple hairs at a time

well it can be inside and not be felt try vinager not olive oil to remove it
how did u get it out it tends to stay inside the dreads years through washings and never comes out
