Welcome. Using a crochet hook once to start does a lot of damage. It's not unfixable, but it does delay progress by about 6 months. It rips hairs into smaller and smaller pieces which makes them more frizzy. It over tightens your locks which makes them hard and stiff. And it makes them weaker and weaker over time.
If you want yours to last a lifetime, continuing to crochet them will not work.
