Welcome. But both of those soaps are terrible for locks. KB soaps are not even designed for locks. It was a hunting shampoo that was only made to be used a handful of times a year. Using it more than that causes severe scalp and skin problems.
And root rubbing and palm rolling are both terrible for locks. They causes thinned out roots and weak spots. If you do it enough to see progress, you will severely destroy your roots. I palm rolled daily for only 2 weeks, and 7 years later I'm still trying to fix the damage
