Hey everyone just joined and I'm looking for some advice, I have some teen dreads between 9-10 months I've been lacking maintenance for about a month or so but I'm starting up again. I have questions tho like how can I get fuzz under control and also tighten up my roots and get ahold of my new growth.

yes thats whats causing it although u will always have some its normal and u should never do anything about it .. dreads should be left alone to dread the more you do the more u have to do to compensate for the harm u do.. just forget all about them wash and seperate to prevent congos and thats all

the rest takes care of itself

Stopped using the wax after the first week, I didn't like the feel of it but I have been mainkmg with the hook, but If that is what'd causing the frizz then I'm recycling that for something else and let them go, thanks for the help man.

donr! u caused the broken hairs with the crochet u doid already

stop all maintenance

u ned to let them heal and recover your mangling them causing broken hait=-rs which cause fulzxzz

the roots need nothing but time the dreads need 6 months to a year to recover from the harm you did already

do no maintenance at all except seperation to prevent congos..nothing at all else

you alreasy did way too much now the 1 thing you do want to do remove wax throw away the crochet ghook join the crochet recovery group
