I'm just starting my dreads for the first time and I'm about 3 weeks in the natural process and I was just curious if there was anything special you do after your dreads get wet? should i do anything different since i'm just starting mine?

Haha Lonnie. I headbang for a few minutes every morning and I'm usually dry in 2 or 3 hours. I've used a blow dryer before, but it seems to free up all the loose hairs a bit more.

I blow dry mine. Not gonna lie. I blow dry em for about 10 minutes. I can't stand to do em any longer than that. Then i put em up in a tam for the day and at night I might blow dry em again for 5 minutes or so. I'm just afraid I'll get mildew and mold if not.

Shake em out like a dog after a bath, a little headbanging and let Mama nature do the rest!
