Don't use any product but a good dread shampoo or baking soda wash and apple cider vinegar rinse afterwards. To get the wax out, nearly boiling hot water and Dawn dish soap (Fairy if you're in the UK, I haven't checked your profile out) or the Wax-B-Gone from dreadlockshampoo.com. Don't use was, lock peppa or any other 'accelerator', you don't need it. Since they're already formed just let nature take it's coarse!

Welcome. Have you started to get the wax out? Wax won't wash out in just soap and water. It needs a detergent to wash it out
