yup, a month and a half..I sleep on a wool sweater and my roots have already dreaded up nice and tight ... Wool does that for some reason :D

oh it should be more than a year really... ...Dreads mature fully in 6 months to 2 years I think...so you never really know

Yeah if you did it once then you should be ok..although they may still get a little fuzzy for a little while..and yeah patience is the most important part but also the hardest!! ..at least the hardest for me..I had to fight with myself not to crochet in the first month because I actually went out and bought a hook before I knew it was damaging...so I literally saw it every day taunting me xD

Welcome!How are your dreadies doing?? Crochet is ok for starting dreads, but maintaining with crochet is super damaging...Roots will dread themselves and the tips are better loose, they dry faster
