Thanx for understanding
By fashion i meant society's pre constructed ideas of beauty and coolness and how some people try so hard for having that pair of 'ideal' dreads and unfortunately end up messing up with stuff that they shouldn't do.
Societal beliefs of fashion will always push you towards following somebody trying to make u believe that that person's look is ideal. But dreadlocks are hardly perfect (atleast natural ones). All they do is enhance your individuality so why not just be the fashion rather than following it.
I personally never started on dreadlocks to look or whatever. But i have nothing against fashion and dreads. in fact they look so awesome as long as you feel the connection haha!! Thank u for the comments :D
I think anything can be a fashion if people want it to be, but to some people there's always a reason behind it. Some people like how they look but will still have patience and sport them for life. For others, the journey in itself is rewarding. So I don't agree, personally, but understand what you're saying. And of course, your dreading is coming along great
