My husband seriously relaxed about me doing my own hair after dread your Dreaducation forum. Thank you! I feel more relaxed too! Big plus!
I will strongly encourage my friend to not use the kit but I cannot make the decision for her--it is her hair. She must make her own decisions.
The DVD kit is for my friend--not for myself. She really wants it. After doing more research and reading up on your Dreaducation forum I have decided that for myself I will likely go with the Twist and Rip method--no croquet and no wax.
I have the hair type 3a-3b.
no dread kit needed just went camping and it dreaded, search the site for dred kit or loctition (a deliberate typo, theres no such thing) you will see njothing but disasters groups made just to stand up agains t the sellers of dread kits (this site is why your the 1st person in 8 or more years to even fall for a dread kit) groups just about loctician recovery and all the horible things they do
best way to dread is just let it dread..its as simple as that
locticians are even worse then dread kits and don't have your freind do them either..either just let them dread naturally ior use twist and riip but do it yourself
send the kit back! dread kits are scams the best way to read is just stop preventing dreads the next best is use only your fngers.. do not use the dread kit! i can't believe anyone would still considr that fter all he dreads lost to dread kits
I was thinking of starting them via the suggested way of getwiredandstoned.com. I purchased their Dread journey kit and DVD. My friend wants me to dread her hair.
I am contemplating seeing a loctition just to help me get my dreads started for the first 2+ hours. I want to do my dreads the natural way but would appreciate kind tips, suggestions as to how to achieve this. My husband is worried about my friend doing my dreads for me. I have curly hair that is just past my shoulders.
Does anyone have any tips/suggestions?
welcome, so how were you thinking of starting your dreads? be sure to post in the forums before you start to make sure you don't make any of the common mistakes
