Are you doing a baking soda wash with the Apple cider Vinegar rinse? 1/2 cup baking soda to 5 cups water, pour over wet head and leave on for 10 minutes, rinse out well, then do the ACV rinse to balance the hairs PH and condition it. Mix 1 capful of ACV to 5 cups water & pour over head, rinse right away or within one minute. The best homemade wash for dreads!!! Enjoy your journey...Peace
