welcome id stop interlocking..and stop twisting both are going to weaken the dreads your only a few days in though so twisting hasnt done any harm but interlockings a bad choice and from here on out u should leave em alone! only wash and seperate (aka ripping or popping pull them gently away from eachother breaking any connecting hairs)
