dove i would thingk is heavy with residueafter the dreaducation thread move into maintanancve and read any of the baking soda threads like the super clean dreads threadu might wanna think about using somethi8ng like nutreagena daily clarifying at least once or twice to remove all the cxonditioners then use the baking soda (add sea salt)

rubber bab=nds should never be left on longer then a day or 2 they can really become a mess very fast they get aswallowed where they mewlt or dry rot even after just a few days removing them can cause some knots to be rippred apart they do no good at allthey alsio say checkerboard sections whoich leave a bald checkerboard pattern and cause fake lookimng dreads that are all the exact same size.. your hair will section itself in no time if left alone... what have u been washing with

mine actualy dreaded at 2-3 inches from just playin with it..well the back i put some beads in and they dreaded fast

ah well naturaly most hair types dread at about 4-6 inches..also employers cannot say anything about your dreads, but if u go natural they may say somthing during the dreading stage so u should explain that when dreading for spiritual reasons you should allow the process to happen organicly and make an agreement on how to make the early stages more pressentable like a tam or wrap or band to tie em back

i'll tell u the reasearch i did when i 1st started dreading back in the 80's... i walked up to the 1st dread i ever saw and asked how do u get your hair that way, ..he said ..stop combing..and yup that was all the research i ever needed
