Welcome. Is it a personal choice to stop being a chef? Or do you think you won't be able to with locks? I was a cook for 5 years and started when I was only a few week into my journey. So locks wont stop you from cooking. But I respect that you want to be a tattoo artist. I'd love to do that, but I can't draw for my life. I a music guy. That's my medium.
Check out my video on palm rolling before you do it the next time. I'm sure it;ll scare you away from doing it ever again.

Welcome. Did you remove that wax? Just stopping using it is not enough. It doesn't wash out in water and BS. It's a hydrocarbon and needs a detergent to remove it. Dawn Dish soap is good, and the wax remover from dreadlockshampoo.com is great.
And stop using the lemon juice. Lemon juice is citric acid. It eats away at your hair making it brittle and weak. In time it will degrade your hair so much that it may actually dissolve and break off at random points.

welcome u shouldnt use lemon juice its too strong of an acid it slowly disolves hair from the inside and what maintenance do u do?
also its not enough to stop using wax u gotta take agressive measures to remove it
