Welcome. I hate to break it to you, but DHHQ is a scam. None of their products were originally sold for dreadlocks. They have all been remarketed with a cute colourful logo and the word "dreadlocks" on it. They are all damaging and/or toxic.

If you used wax, your locks will never mature. They may feel mature. That's only the wax hardened inside of your locks. Wax is a hydrocarbon and NEEDS a detergents to wash it out. DHHQ shampoo does have a detergent in it (SLS), but it's very toxic.

If you crocheted your hair at all, that completely destroys locks. It rips hairs into smaller and smaller pieces which weakens your locks and can make them snap off at places, or even at the root leaving a bald spot.
