thank you all for the sweet words! @ evolving..i start locks for my clients by way of twist and rip & interlocking for ethnic hair, and twist and rip & backcombing for straight hair.. youshould never not wash your hair, just like the rest of the body, hair NEEDS water. if you have african hair and you use this technique your starter locs will do just that, START! no matter how you wash them. and regular palm roll maintenance is required
