hey,,yiu remember a girl on there who always used dolls as her profile photo, and reenacted parts of her life using dolls like when she lived in a tipi with anther member/ she never showed her face but used dolls to represent herself>?  I really loved that girl we really connected and I would love to reconnect with her

Don't worry too much about your fine hair. Every hairtype will dread, that's for sure. It might take some more or even less time, so its just about waiting for the knots and being patient. I have used the seasalt a couple of times in the beginning, too but quit after a while because i thought that it doesn't really matter how long it takes to become dreads. Its a journey with lots of lessons to learn, no matter how long it takes.

one or two inch of unknotted hair is normal at the scalp even for mature dreads. Using seasalt dilluted in water in a spray bottle can help to speed up the knotting process. But be careful and don't leave the salt on your head for too long, it can also dry out your scalp. I have used it a couple of hours before a wash or left it on overnight and washed the next morning.

As your dreadin'...What do you find best tightens the lose unknotted bits near the scalp???
