Yeah this one looks like double spirals upon closer inspection. I don't do wraps or bracelets often enough and find it easier to remember how to tie the singles.I ought to take the time to do a double spiral. I like the tighter spacing with the double spiral.
yiu can do it a double spiral by using 2 strands and the 1/2 hitch on each soide u can do single or double ridges by alternating direction with the hitch
if you use colors u can get a stripped effect the same way
Baba, to get that spiral effect you just do half hitch knots repeatedly with a single strand of hemp, working from one side only, until it's as long as you want it to be.(I use double strands and hide one inside just because it's easier to loop it onto a dread that way, just keep the strand you don't work with inside the wrap)
You can do rainbow/multicoloured ones easily too just by hiding the threads you aren't working with inside the wrap and then dropping and picking up threads as needed.
Any of the funky solid wraps people make are pretty much just hemp bracelets made with the dread as the center strands rather than hemp.

I'm new to wraps. I gotta ask... how do you get that cool spiral texture in yours?
