Welcome. Never go to a salon if you want locks. Salons will destroy locks. It's not always their fault. They just know nothing about how to grow healthy locks. Even those places that say they specialize in locks. They specialize in wax and damaging methods.

All you need to do is wash 2-3 times a week with a residue free shampoo and separate your hair so the sections don' congo. If wax as used in your coils, wash it all out. Wax will NEVER wash out in normal soap and water. You need a detergent and at least a week of aggressive washing to get it out.

welciome 1st ofr everything the salon told ya to do is wrong was wax used/ were u to,d not to wash were u told to go back every few weeks to get them retightened/

all wrong

if wasx was used u must agressu[ivly remove it

then just wash wash wash and never go back
