So Ive been doing the natural, no maintenance way for a month now, and I'm starting school tomorrow,, I LOOVE my dreadlings so far, but I really wanted to do something to help get the straglers started knotting WITHOUT DAMAGING MY HAIR OR SCALP.. backcombing, wax and all that crap are out of the question,,, but I found something called the "Pull and Tear" method, I imagine this CAN be vary damaging to the hair if done wrong, but when I did it on a loose dreadling VARY GENTLY, it seemed to do vary little if any damage, with no pain and a small amount of work It makes nice round dreadlings that I can now leave to finish on their own...I still have some "neglect dreads" and will post pics of each methods progress when I haveaccessto a better cam,,,
