As you know dandruff is an excessive shedding of dead skin cells. Do you know the cause of your dandruff? As for Tea Tree Oil it should be applied directly to the source of your dandruff, your scalp.Be careful when applying it though, you don't want to run the risk of developing an allergic reaction by using full strength doses. Dilute it into your wash and spray. Stay away from the sea salt as this will dry out your scalp as well and exacerbate your condition.I would say a mixture of Tea Tree Oil & a natural diluted 1:12 wash like Dr. Bronner's would do good. A mixture of cleansing Tea Tree, soothing Lavender, cooling Peppermint & Eucalyptus would feel great on a scalp. Personally I would just go with one of Vicky's dandruff dreadlocks shampoo bars and use the Tea Tree Oil in a soothing tea spray in between washes. If you keep bars dry in between washes they last a long time and having tried every dreadlock shampoo out there I can say Vicki's are the best hands down. My scalp feels so good & squeaky clean.Keeping the brewed tea & Tea Tree Oil in a simple spray bottle stored in your refrigerator is great for a cooling calming & soothing scalp spray between washes. Look for calming tea & herbs like Lavender, Chamomile flowers, Lemon Balm, Spearmint, Lemon Grass, Clove, Rosemary, Catnip, Anise, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Nettle and Comfrey.Tea Tree & Rosemary Dreadlocks Barhttp://shop.dreadlockshampoo.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=16 Cedar, Sweetgrass & Sage Dreadlocks Barhttp://shop.dreadlockshampoo.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=19 Patchouli Dreadlocks Barhttp://shop.dreadlockshampoo.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=2 Blessings on your healing & journey and keep us posted.
