Hi Andrea and welcome to the community and the best site on the web for healthy dreadlocks. Your new journey has just begun, how exciting for you. Start off by reading the dreaducation section at the top of the site for healthy information. You can also read my post on T&R dreads and what to expect in the next stages. Enjoy the site and your journey...Peace (Dead URL) http://www.dreadlockssite.com/forum/topics/just-starting-out-what-to-expect/a>

Here is a map to show your water type in your area. Many dread shampoos and bars do not work properly in hard water, like Dr. Bronners will leave a residue build up over time in hard water. We can help you find a safe one if needed.
