Welcome. Hairs doesn't need to b forced to lock. I know it can be annoying to wait, but forcing them to tangle only causes damage and harm. Crocheting, esspesially, is the most damaging thing that can be done to locks. It rips your hairs into smaller and smaller pieces, which weakens your locks and can actually cause them to snap off n places, even at the root, if you do it over and over, Doing it once won't destroy your locks, but it wil actually delay progress by about 6 months.
