Saw your comment about discrimination and wanted to say be strong and we learn through everything the world throws at us. I have started to wonder what people will make of me now..nearly 40, baby dreads forming, nose pierced on my 2 weeks ago..etc etc. I spent so long wanting to be respected through my work, and for my kids, and no I'm letting it go, and learning there are differnent people out there. Some will be my friends, some will judge me, but I feel like i'm being me again after 20 years of conforming to society.
I hope to find support thru good friends, and this site, and new friends who come into my life, who have different values than materialistic, conformist nonsense. I hope you find lots of lovely people who will be your strength when the world seems crap!

I actually the bigger ones at Wal*mart in the crafty section and the smaller ones at Hobby lobby in their bead selections! :D
