I posted the pictures from the freeformed sections that I consider kinda big. If you can see in detail, even in one I have some hairs already looping inside... So it seems if I need to comb it out, it's already gonba take me some time.

Actually, I have 6 in that first row, but they can't be seen well in this pictures. Actually, is really funny because I just did tnr sections just in the back of my head and now everything else is starting to dread. I'm kinda worried about two sections that have been freeforming that I consider kinda big. Should I comb them out? Those ones formed naturally. Let me check if I can post the picture from here.I took the bands in the moment I finished them. I have in total like 17 tnr sections, 6 in the first row, 6 in the second row and 5 in the third row. I left the roots very loose also, I can pass through like two fingers. But I left the top of my hair undone to kinda experiment with the two methods and now I have some sections defined "naturally" but I think they got kinda big. I don't know what to do...
They fatten up as they grow more mature. Generally, the size of the dread will be about the size of the section itself over time. I have a one-inch section dread right behind my ear and it's pretty fat and I have to be very careful about it getting dry after washing so not to create mold. So if anything, I'd say they are just right or slightly too big, depending on how large you intend your dreads to be. I personally love fat locks. :P Also, be sure to take out those bands after you're finished, they will do more harm than good.

yea looked closer u only got 3 dreads across the whole back
i9d definately recomend more like 6
yea u probably will want them thinner..like 1/2 that size
1 inch is the max youd want and even then theres a risk if they were 1/2 inch or so they are alot easier t9o care for
