sent ya a message, hope all is going well!
It's not the end of the world. It's not great to separate that much or that deeply, but your hair is part of you, and you're a living organism. There are ways you heal yourself. And your hair, as it keeps growing, is the way it will heal itself. In give time, your hair will grow out more and fill in those gaps and you will be back to having healthy locks and a healthy scalp. If in a few months, you still have some scalp showing in between some locks, it is most likely due to how you sectioned it off in the first places and how it just layers over each section. But it should just fill in with new growth and that loose hair should become locks of their own and fill in any gaps
Sorry, I forgot to ask, how many times did you crochet? And how long ago did you stop?
teatree kills bacteria lavender kills mold pores but nutragena anti residi=ue stinks it smells like dirt and leaves its own residues

Welcome. But the palm rolling is a bad call. It does either 1 of 2 things. It will either do nothing. If you have been doing it for 7 months, then you should see that having to redo it all the time shows that each individual time didn't do anything. In 7 months, if you see any progress, it's not from the palm rolling. It's from time.
Or it will irrevocably damage your roots and locks. I only did it for a few weeks and 6 years later and still worried about 5 of them falling off because of their own weight. Palm rolling tends to rip hairs out, but they get sucked into the body of the lock. So now you have a locks with x# of hairs that add weight to your lock, but don't give it any support to your scalp. Doing this over and over will lead to a thicker lock with a super thin root. I posted a video on my page about what it did to my locks after just a few sessions. Check it out. It'll definitely make you stop, if my description didn't already
