Thanks. Both of those are 2 of my favorite songs.

I'm glad you figured out how to respond. It's tricky sometimes. Just ask if you have any questions. If you want to ask me or anyone directly, look at the bottom right corner of your screen. There's a tab that says "dreads online". Click it to see everyone who's online right now. Click any name to chat directly with them. Adam Kelly, Soaring Eagle, Ixchel, Valerie, Heather, or myself are great resources.

And just stopping wax isn't enough. It has to be aggressively removed. The dreaducation page has a few ways to get rid of it. If you need any help, let me know

Welcome. At best, wax will completely prevent locking. But in many cases it creates mold. Wax is a hydrocarbon. That means it won't dissolve in water. Since normal soap won't wash it out, water that does make it to your hair gets trapped there and festers. It begins t dissolve your hair and it rots.

Even occasional waxing will cause this to happen. And worse, because it creates layers of wax and hair. It is a pain to get rid of, but it is absolutely necessary to grow healthy long lasting locks
