Welcome. Like Eagle and Barrellady said, don't bother palm rolling. If you do it enough to see progress, it will actually cause more damage than help. I did it for 2 weeks, daily, and 7 years later I'm still trying to fix the damage
Here is a map of your water type. If you have hard water, you should either boil the water first to mix the BS with, just boil, let it settle down so the minerals sink to the bottom and pour out the good water slowly. Or, what I do is purchase a water cooler size bottle and use that for the BS.

Welcome to the community Lauren and to your 2 month old journey. How is it going so far? I also used the BS wash / ACV rinse for entire first year of my T&R dreads. No need to palm roll, it actually causes damage to the dreads. Here are some postings that can give you some great tips...
