Hi Andrea!!! Welcome to the site!! I did TNR if you look at my pictures you will see them :D but the curly, twisty, zig zag ones are the ones that are neglect from several months ago. I would advise going neglect. just because they will turn out better and more natural looking in the end Tnrs look like TNR for quite some time. but it is up to you in the end :P
welcome well i used the baking soda for 4 years about then started using these www.dreadlockshampoo.com and havent used baking soda since ..baking soda does have the advantage of being no scrub so earlyu in neglect u dont rub away knots tho

just shrug n say cabt rush nature and walk away
most likly yes but the longer it is to start the more drastic the shrinking
it will shrink alot once its dreading up
dojn good lil more length will help
