i wanted dreads since i was a little kid. i know i wanted them before teen years for sure. my parents said i wasnt aloud till i was moved out....so once i hardly stayed at home and what not i got my first set.

last time i cut my dreads they were a lil longer then they are now i think or about the same length. it put dreads back in once my hair was like 2 inches long cuz i just cut the dreads out. i plan on keeping this set for a very long time. ive already had them for approximately 3 years. im happy with them. im glad ur taking the time to make a good decision on how u want to do them if u decide to. there wasnt great sites like this one that i knew about when i did mine

well some people did and some people still do, but i just look at them like a filter, if someone is not cool with me having dreads i probably dont want them around me anyways. i enjoy the company of well rounded open minded people and those types of people normally dont care about hair

umm i would not personally use wax in my dreadlocks or start them by using wax. i think you should either backcomb or go natural. umm if i take them out i will either cut or comb them out...but i dont really plan on it. dreadlocks can take a long time, with that said i think they are worth every day. good luck. stay in touch
