First, I'd recommend you wash more often. 2-3 times a week is best.
I haven't had lice or any bugs so far. Eagle just recently had a case of lice. He'd be better to talk to about it. I know how to treat them. But if you haven't seen any in a while and treated for them for so long, you're probably fine.

It destroys all locks. Doing it once won't destroy them. But it will delay progress. Doing a lot can cause them to snap off in places and even snap off at the root leaving a bald spot where a lock should have been
welcome but gotta tell ya crochets extremely bad for dreads it does severe damage and if used only one time to start delays progress by 6 months! if u use it alot as maintenance u just totalty destroy them and recovery can take well over a year
its a horibly abusive thing to do to dreads

i wash 2-3 ties a week i use the shampoos from www.dreadlockshampoo.com they are the best b4 that used baking soda and acv
try neem seed oil
or dimotacouse earth
but if u havent found any in 6 weks your probly fine
welcome but essentialoils arent enough to get your dreads clean
