Hi Kelsey, I sleep on my right side and the left I have longer strands, one is still really long. To get the left side balancing out, I slept on the couch for a few weeks so I couldn't roll over, it really did help. My hair started long like yours and is up to my shoulders. ...Peace

ok umm are you black?twists are more for african hairwell you can start growinmg your dreads (btw retwistings very bafd fir dreads your lucky u didnt go bald)once you have dreads you want to heep the tips loose like an inchthen comb out an inch of the old dreads the combesd out parts join together then use a tiny tint tiny crochet hook to push through the joints in random directions hook the hairs on the other side and opull them through over and over till the joinets have woven togetherim no pro on crochet thouigh so watch yourtube vids or ask in the forums..one thing though u only want to use it on the joints never on the rest of the dread or roots..only to join them nothing else

if u went to a salon they were ruined anyway your better off not reattaching them they were destroyedthe absolute worse thing u can ever do to dreads is go to a salonso forget the old dreads..they are ruinedgrow real dreadsjust throw away your comb and let them dread on theyre own there is no better way to drerwsad then thattwist and rips another way its very easy to do yourself but u do not want to use anything in them no wax no gell nothing just keep them ckleanyour salon dreads will tot theyre full of wax they are ruined and you should be glad theyre gone so you cdan grow real dreads now
