I started my dread journey by a combination of twist and rip and backcombing. I used T&R to begin the knitting toward my scalp, but it left it loose enough to not cause issues. After I had enough knotty fluff, I backcombed toward my scalp. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. My dreads are only one week old, but they've already changed my life so much. I can't wait to watch their progress! Love to all!
