Welcome. If you don't have naturally oily hair, you'll find it beneficial to use an ACV rinse after the BS wash. BS is a base and will raise your pH level too high, frying your hair and scalp. ACV brings the pH back down to a healthy level so you don't damage your hair and scalp

Hey! And no, I'm not from Greece. I just have a fascination with Hellas and her culture. How can one not?? :) From church I know limited Greek words and can kind of read and write Greek. Also, my friend and her father are Greek and her dad will occassionally teach me words as well. He took the time to teach me how to read the Greek alphabet. Lol, I'm still not great with spelling, as I am sure you will notice. :) Anyways, it was lovely of you to reach out! I see you are crurrently living in Athens? If so, I hope you and yours are well. All I know is Athens suffers greatly because of the recession and subsequent Austerity Measures. Are you Greek? Either way... to dreadlockssite! I look forward to hearing more from you!

Welcome to the community John and to the best site on the web for healthy dreadlocks. I see you started out with the twist & rip method. I have posted tips doing this method myself: (Dead URL) http://www.dreadlockssite.com/forum/topics/just-starting-out-what-to-expect/a> Enjoy your journey...Peace

Welcome. But don't bother palm rolling. If you don't do it every day, it won't do anything to create lasting knots. It'll only make them look neat for a few hours. But if you do do it enough to see progress, it will severely destroy your locks. I palm rolled daily for only the first 2 weeks, and 7 years later I'm still trying to fix the damage
