Thank you Panterra! You are so sweet and such a positive spirit. I wish you lived close as well. : ) Maybe you could take a summer class in welding. That is what I did at Yavapai College in Prescott, AZ. Usually after you have taken the course they will let you use their studio during open studio times. Getting your own weldingequipment can be a bit of a challenge, but if you have a garage it can work. Blessings to you too! <3
Thank you so much Kathleen I had forgotten before...I wanted to tell you...one of my top bucket list things is to learn to weld. I used to take ballet at college and the dance studio was right next to the welding classes. I used to watch all the guys welding and I longed to join them. I am not sure why I have always found it so intrigueing. Perhaps, the primal fire thing...who knows. I wish I was close enough for you to show me how. Enjoy the rest of your weekend too...I so admire you...and I know you have no shortage of imagination, bravery or sense of adventure. May blessings flow like water over you <3
Thank you very much : ) This is my first attempt at making jewelry. I used to do welded metal sculpture and wire sculpture but after kids I wrapped myself up in them. Have never been good at balancing the two. I am just starting to feel creative again and it feels good. Happy to hear you didn't get yourself caught up in the greed fest either. I think it's empowering to not "buy in". We have made a pact with ourselves not to be a part of the problem. We realized that we can't very well complain about the greed and corruption we see everyday to just go out and be apart of it. Well, I do have to go into mypretentiouswork tomorrow (bleh!) At least I had a relaxing day prior. ; ) I hope you have a nice weekendPanterra. <3
You are so talented! Really beautiful I like that you stayed home and had a happy and creative day. I did not indulge in the "Black Friday" greed fest either <3
