Swagat Cha Kapil. You found the best site on the web for Health dreadlocks! Glad to hear you stopped using honey, I would think that besides catching dirt, it would have attracted wasps & bees. Ouch. Enjoy the site..Peace
Welcome to the community newbke. Glad you found the best site on the web for honest and healthy dread information. How did you start your dreads? To get you started, read the Dreaducation section at the top of the site, it will answer many questions you might have. I am not sure where you live in the states, so here is a map to let you know what water type you have. Many soaps and shampoos leave behind a residue inside dreads if used with hard water, not sure what the mango & lime spray you use is like or if it is good for dreads. If you do have hard water, the best shampoo and bars for dreads are made by a member on this site @ DreadlockShampoo.com. Vickie also makes dread accelerators to help the journey. Any questions, we are all here to help you keep your journey happy and healthy....Peace
Welcome. Plus, honey is food. It's not a hair product. It will attract bugs and insects. And it will get other junk stuck to your hair.

Welcome. The mango and lime stuff is only designed for african textured hair. So if you're not, it won't help your hair at all.
