Thanks for "befriending" me =] Your dreads look like they're starting a beautiful journey, they look great. Namaste
in reply to you message.......yes pretty much 100% natural and neglect. I did do about 7 TnR's just to see what it would look like. They looked really good in the beginning but not so good now. The rest is natural and my family has calmed down a bit My hair feels so much thicker and healthier than ever. Im washing in 2 Tablespoons of BS mixed with 2 cups of distilled water with a couple drops of tea tree oil which has done wonders for my dry scalp. Also Im using a sea salt and water mixture just to "tame" down frizzies! Ill keep you posted and Ill post another pic at my 4 weeks mark! Cant wait to see more pics of yours!
Funny how many people have no vision on how a dread is formed, yet they have an opinion. No one says anything about my mess, (8 months now) they look and that's it, but it must be my age. Yours do look fantastic. Enjoy the journey.

I washed with the BS/ACV wash every 2 days for a few months with no problems. Some people like to use it as a deep clean once in a while. But if you only wash with it, you shouldn't have any issues
Sounds good. But you may want to start using a soap. Water doesn't actually clean your hair and scalp. And clean hair will lock better. You want to strip away oils and dirt that build up
Welcome. But palm rolling only does 1 of 2 things. Either it'll do nothing, and leave no lasting knots. Or it will leave lasting knots and will irrevocably destroy your roots. Check out my video on why not to palm roll

Thank you so much! And no, I didn't use elastics, just twist and rip in the beginning and sea salt spray on my wash days!
