I used dish detergent(the degreaser kind) and scrubbed, scrubbed, scrubbed! Would dry my hair with the hair dryer and repeat. I did this for two or three days and as far as I can tell it is gone. My hair is back to it's original texture except for some split ends from the backcombing.
Welcome. What did you use to get the wax out? Wax is a hydrocarbon, and will NEVER fully wash out in boiling hot water and normal soap. the only way to clean out wax is to use a detergent and scrub a lot. Normally it takes at least 1 month of scrubbing 2-3 times a week to get even 1 session worth of wax out
