One way to fix the shapes are to let them be from now on, No more hooks. They can never turn into mature dreads as long as you crochet them. Recovery can take up to a year for you, but as they recover, they will start to mature and change shape. Also, you must stop palm rolling, that causes weak roots, thinning out roots and dreads that break off down the road. A member on here, Baba Fats, has posted a video on it, many of his broke off due to palm rolling. Did you use any wax? If so, you will have to remove that first in order for your dreadlocks to mature.
Don't worry, we will get you all fixed up so that you can keep your dreads for life if you so choose, and guess what, it will be done with no more money spent at salons, don't give any more cash to locticians at all....
